Rice
radish cake
A different type of cake
Ingredients: 2 medium white radishes, 1 bag (16 oz) rice
flour, 4 cup chicken broth, 2 cup water, 2 to 3 tsp black
pepper or white pepper, 1 tsp salt, 1/3 cup vegetable
oil. |

Peel and shred the
radishes. Cook until tender. Drain and set aside. Mix
2 cup water and rice flour together in a big pan. Boil
chicken broth. Pour into rice batter gradually (stir
while doing this). Add remaining ingredients. Mix well.
Cook until the batter gets very thick (stir continuously).
Grease 33x23x5 cm pan. Pour the batter into the pan.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake 450 degree for 50
minutes or longer (some ovens may vary). Let cool and
slice. Pour a little bit of vegetable oil in the skillet,
and fry the sliced cake until the cake is slightly golden.
Prepare some brown gravy and pour it over the fried
radish cake and serve.

Pineapple
up-side down cake
Ingredients: 1 stick margarine, 1 (20 oz) can crushed
pineapple (drained), 1 box yellow cake mix, 1 1/2 cups
brown sugar. |

Melt margarine in
9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle brown suagar over top of margarine.
Put crushed pineapple over top of suger. Prepare cake
mix accoreing to pakage instructions. Pour evenly
over top of pineapple. Bake at 350 degree for 35 minutes.
